Jhene Aiko brought in Ab-Soul for a verse on her new album "Westside Whimsy" on the exciting song "Love Bomb."

Jhené Aiko has officially released her new album Westside Whimsy with features from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Larry June, and Ab-Soul. In fact, on the song "Love Bomb," we get to hear Ab-Soul, albeit in a limited capacity. On this track, he offers background vocals and ad-libs that are unmistakable. Meanwhile, Aiko offers up a reserved performance in which she keeps her voice in its lower register. It's more of a rap performance than an R&B one, although this suits the production quite nicely. Clearly, Aiko had no issues with experimentation when preparing this new project.

Quotable Lyrics from Love Bomb

I ain't even like you, put you in the friendzone
You stood on your ten toes, now you in the endzone
That wasn't the end goal, I had to respect that
Startin' to regret that, damn
