6ix9ine and Lil Durk have not seen eye-to-eye over the years, although the beef has mostly been one-sided. Durk referred to Tekashi as a rat during his RICO trial, and 6ix9ine has not forgotten about it since.
As soon as 6ix9ine came home from prison, he began trolling and mocking those who he felt did him wrong. For instance, he said disrespectful things about the death of King Von, all while urging Lil Durk to get vengeance. In fact, 6ix9ine's "slide for Von" comments on DJ Akademiks' "Off The Record" podcast were used in court by the prosecution.
Now, closing arguments have concluded, and the jury is set to begin deliberations this morning. 6ix9ine seems to believe Lil Durk is going to lose, and he is feeling pretty happy about it. So much so that he started singing lyrics from "Laugh Now Cry Later" on DJ Akademiks' Kick stream.
6ix9ine Speaks On Lil Durk Case
Akademiks was quick to call 6ix9ine a troll, although the rainbow-haired rapper did not seem to care. Akademiks also laughed at Tekashi for rapping the lyrics poorly, noting that Durk was always a much better artist than him.
If a verdict comes down today, you can be sure that 6ix9ine is going to be one of the first to publicly comment. That is especially true if the verdict is a guilty one.
The deliberations are set to begin in about an hour or so, and at this time, there is no telling how this case will go. Lil Durk fans remain confident that his defense did enough to evoke reasonable doubt.
