Lil Durk's murder-for-hire trial has brought out the hot takes, and that is especially true as it pertains to Trap Lore Ross and DJ Akademiks. Ross, specifically, has gone viral for his coverage of the case, although mostly for negative reasons.
Some feel as though Trap Lore Ross has been a distraction in the courtroom. His comments about Durk telling on OTF Vonni have gotten him into quite a bit of trouble. Some Durk fans have even pressed him outside the courthouse.
On Tuesday, following closing arguments, Trap Lore Ross and DJ Akademiks were on stream together, with Ross giving his breakdown of the case. It was here that he brought up 21 Savage, claiming the artist was a snake for doing Lil Durk's song "War Bout It." This is a song with some spiteful lyrics from Durk, and given Savage's previous association with NBA YoungBoy, Ross found the collab disturbing.
Akademiks immediately checked Trap Lore Ross on his comments. Noting how 21 Savage can do what he wants, and that he and Durk had always been tight from the beginning.

It was previously reported by DJ Akademiks that 21 Savage was reportedly contributing financially to Lil Durk's legal defense fund. He was doing so alongside other artists like Drake, Kanye West, and even Lil Baby.
The jury deliberations have officially begun in the case. Those deliberations started about 30 minutes ago, and it is unknown how long they will go on. Some are expecting a verdict today, although it could go longer if the jury is deadlocked.
This is a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for updates.
