Lil Durk remains on trial for an alleged murder-for-hire plot that led to the death of Lul Pab. Yesterday, jury deliberations officially began in Los Angeles, although no verdict was handed down.
In the afternoon, the jury asked for digitized evidence. This can be a lengthy process, and the judge made it clear that the materials would only be available by this morning. As of 11:30 AM EST, the jury will continue its deliberations as the trial remains on verdict watch.
Lil Durk's emotions during the trial have been documented extensively by those sitting inside the courtroom. One court reporter, Michael Blackshire, revealed on Wednesday that Durk and his co-defendants showcased a unified front amid the deliberations.
Durk, OTF Dede, and David Lindsey, otherwise known as Browneyez, all wore blue suits in the courtroom. While it is unclear if this was on purpose, it just shows that they are in this together as their fates are determined by a jury of their peers.

Yesterday's court proceedings were certainly interesting when you consider how Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald mentioned DJ Akademiks' involvement in the case. Akademiks' interview with Lil Durk is being used as evidence. Ak is not a witness in the case, and the Judge understands why the hip-hop commentator is upset about being lumped into the prosecution's arguments.
With jury deliberations continuing in Los Angeles as of 8:30 AM local time, we are officially back on verdict watch. There is no guarantee that a decision is reached today, although we will be following the situation closely.
