Lil Durk is currently facing life in prison if convicted on five charges, including murder-for-hire and stalking causing death. This case is related to the alleged hit on Quando Rondo, which led to the death of Lul Pab in Los Angeles, California.
Since Wednesday, the jury has been deliberating on the case. There are three defendants here, including Durk, OTF Dede, and David Lindsey, also known as Browneyez. Each defendant has five charges against them, which means the jury has to hand down 15 separate verdicts. This is a lengthy process, and as of Friday afternoon, a verdict has not yet been reached.
However, that has not stopped the prosecution and the defense from getting into a room together and having a conversation. According to reporter Michael Blackshire, the defense and prosecution had a closed-door, off-the-record meeting this afternoon. It is unknown what the conversation was about, and how it may pertain to the impending verdict.

Given the fact that this meeting was off-the-record, we will not be getting any sort of transcription of what was said. However, this has not stopped commenters on X from speculating that some kind of plea deal could be on the horizon. There is no proof that this is the case, and during legal moments like this, it is important to dismiss hearsay. Otherwise, misinformation can be disseminated exceptionally fast.
