The verdict in the Lil Durk trial will not be coming today as the jury needs more time to deliberate.
According to Michael Blackshire, the jury asked the court for digital evidence from the case. This process is simply going to take too long, which means the jury will be deliberating well into tomorrow.
Durk is currently facing five charges right now and they all pertain to his murder for hire allegations. The rapper stands accused of orchestrating the murder of Lul Pab. The target of the alleged hit was supposed to be Quando Rondo.
Individuals such as OTF Jam, OTF Vonni, and Flacka were all witnesses for the prosecution, and testified against Durk.
Lil Durk Verdict Is Official
If convicted on the murder for hire charges, Durk could face life in prison. Furthermore, he is expected to be tried on racketeering charges at a later date. Needless to say, this case remains a matter of life and death for the artist.
The jury is reportedly set to be back in action as of tomorrow at 8:30 AM. It is expected that the jury will come to a verdict by then, although there is no telling if that will be the case.
