The Terror Squad AF1 In 2026
The latest chapter of the Terror Squad Air Force 1 story is almost here. The "University Red" colorway drops September 9th, 2026, after Fat Joe first teased it at the 2023 BET Awards.
Sneakerheads have been waiting nearly three years for this one. It follows the two Terror Squad AF1 colorways that already released in 2023, both of which sold out. The demand was always there, but Nike and Fat Joe just took their time building the rollout right.
The shoe itself stays true to the Air Force 1 formula without overcomplicating anything. A clean white leather base sits underneath vibrant university red overlays, giving it a bold but wearable color blocking. "TS" embroidery hits the lateral heel as a direct nod to the crew, while "JC" stitched on the heel tab references Fat Joe's longtime nickname Joey Crack.
An alternate set of red laces gives the wearer the option to go all red or keep the contrast. The midsole runs white with red outsole detailing underneath to complete the look. It retails for $150 and drops via Nike SNKRS and select retailers on September 9.
Fat Joe presented the shoe to the public alongside his daughter Azaryah, giving the release a personal touch that fits the whole story perfectly. This wasn't a corporate rollout. It felt like a family moment, which is exactly what Terror Squad has always been about.
