The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low "University Red" finally drops, years after Fat Joe first debuted the pair in 2023.

The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low "University Red" is set to release August 26th for $150. It's a pair that's been years in the making for Fat Joe and his crew.

White leather covers the toe box and side panels, with "University Red" taking over the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. A white Swoosh cuts through the middle, matched by a white midsole underneath. Red finishes things off on the outsole, keeping the whole build clean and straightforward.

The real story sits on the heel. Terror Squad's "TS" logo is embroidered on the side of the shoes, tying the sneakers directly back to the pairs Fat Joe and his crew wore throughout the 2000s. It's the detaills like this that turn a simple colorway into something with actual history behind it.

Fat Joe first showed off this exact pair back at the 2023 BET Awards. Sneakerheads have been waiting on a public release ever since, making this drop feel long overdue by the time it finally lands.

Terror Squad Air Force 1s started as something exclusive to Fat Joe's inner circle. Nike originally made them just for members of the group, keeping them far out of reach for most fans.

That changed in 2023, when the group's first two colorways finally hit retail. The black and white pair became an instant favorite, giving fans their first real shot at owning a piece of that history.

"University Red" continues that same rollout, pulling straight from Fat Joe's own archive of pairs. It keeps the same simple formula that's defined the line so far, red, white, and TS branding on the heel.

Fat Joe's connection to Nike runs much longer than just these releases too. Between his sneaker boutique Up NYC and his decades in the culture, this drop is another small piece of a much longer relationship.
