Lil Durk is set to begin jury selection for his murder-for-hire trial on Thursday, and new information is reportedly being made available.

Lil Durk's murder-for-hire trial is officially set to begin on August 20, as jury selection will begin. Durk is facing life in prison as he stands accused of orchestrating the murder of Quando Rondo's cousin, Lul Pab.

It has been alleged that Quando Rondo was the target of the Los Angeles gas station ambush. Furthermore, it was alleged that this was all retaliation for the murder of King Von, which took place back in November of 2020.

Now, new legal documents are coming to light, suggesting that Durk was given a peace offering by one of Quando Rondo's affiliates. However, Durk had very little interest in peace, saying, "I'm not hopping on the phone to squash [...] this for Thang and Von."

Lil Durk Trial Begins Thursday

Later in the filing, Lil Durk continues his alleged threats against Quando Rondo and his crew. "Call me bout peace, take the peace of the switch." Moreover, it was stated that the switch being referred to is a machine gun similar to the one used to kill Lul Pab.

Recently, Lil Durk has been facing some difficult losses as it pertains to the upcoming trial. While he scored a win as far as getting some of the allegations removed, Durk has been unable to keep certain pieces of evidence out of the trial.

His song "Pissed Me Off" can be used by the prosecution. Furthermore, a phone seized during a home invasion in 2021 can also be used in the case. This will only make it more difficult for Durk and his defense to win the case.

Stay tuned to HNHH for updates as the trial officially begins on Thursday.
