The Air Jordan 10 'Taxi' finally has a release date, and it's bringing a first-ever detail to the silhouette's history.

The Air Jordan 10 "Taxi" now has a release date, per zSneakerHeadz. It's set to drop May 21st, 2027. This marks the first time the Taxi colorway has landed on this specific silhouette.

Black leather covers the base of the shoe, with a bold yellow overlay running across the mudguard and heel. A "23" graphic sits stitched into the ankle area, keeping things clean and simple compared to some of the model's louder colorways.

The biggest story here is on the heel. This release introduces Nike Air branding for the first time in the shoe's history. That replaces the Jumpman logo typically seen on the back of the Air Jordan 10, marking a real shift for the silhouette.

Also a white midsole with black and yellow detailing rounds out the look, along with a matching checkered pattern on the tongue. It's a clean nod to the taxi cab theme that's defined this colorway across other Jordan models for decades.

With over a year still to go before release, expect more details to trickle out as Jordan Brand gets closer to launch. For now, this early look is already giving collectors plenty to talk about.

Air Jordan 10 "Taxi"

"Taxi" has become one of Jordan Brand's most recognizable naming conventions, showing up across several signature models over the years. Further the black, white, and yellow combination always ties back to the same New York City cab inspiration.

Bringing it to the Air Jordan 10 fills a notable gap in the model's colorway history. The silhouette has leaned mostly into darker, more subdued releases, making this bright pairing a departure from its usual identity.

The heel branding swap is what really sets this one apart. Nike Air replacing the Jumpman is a rare move for any retro release, let alone a colorway as established as "Taxi."

For longtime collectors, that small detail alone should be enough to make this one of the more talked-about Air Jordan 10 releases in recent memory.
