There's quite a bit of repetition in the game these days, and specific lyrics tend to get overlooked (with the exception of anything Drake ever drops.) This is an opportunity to take a closer listen and really consider what these artists have to say. We encourage your opinions.  Keep in mind, these are the most noteworthy lyrics of the week, not necessarily the best. Also, it's hard to get everything right - if you notice any errors, don't hesitate to let us know in the comments section. Lines we're not quite sure about will be bolded.

Cole World: The Sideline Story was considered somewhat of a disappointment to fans who really knew the raw talent that J. Cole posseses. The storyteller and the street smart rapper that fans loved was missing in his debut album. This time around Cole delivers a more cohesive project, with tracks easily flowing one by one to create a complete concept: Born Sinner.

One of the more talked about tracks on J. Cole's Born Sinner is "Let Nas Down." The track details Cole's feeling about hearing that Nas did not approve of his single choice for Cole World. When the NC rapper ran into Nas in the airport, he played him the song, which got a much more positive response from Nasir than "Work Out" before it.
