Nicki Minaj & Lil Uzi Vert Finally Release "The Way Life Goes" Remix

"The Way Life Goes" remix finally sees the light of day.

Nicki Minaj was adamant on remixing Lil Uzi Vert's "The Way Life Goes" off of Luv Is Rage 2 upon it's release. She's previously said the remix was being held back by someone but earlier this week, she tweeted, "Putting the Uzi joint out this week. Phuck it." It looks like she's kept to her promise and has finally came through with the official remix to "The Way Life Goes."

Nicki Minaj and Lil Uzi Vert team up on "The Way Life Goes" remix. The single was one of the more pop sounding songs off of the album and Nicki Minaj has proved to be the Queen at pop-rap over the course of her career. Nicki sounds right in place with the beat, so much so that it could've easily been the original. Nicki kicks off some rapid flows throughout while Uzi's original remain in tact. Hopefully, this is just the first of more music they have coming together. Although it's just a remix, Nicki really does compliment the original version of "The Way Life Goes." They previously worked together on Meek Mill's "Froze" off of DC4.

This is the second guest verse we've received from Nicki Minaj in the past week. Last Friday, Migos dropped the first single off of Culture II with "Motor Sport" featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Her verse on the track sparked a lot of conversation and conspiracy theories around it, making many people believe she fired shots at Cardi B on the track itself. She later debunked those claims after revealing the song was originally a collaboration between herself and Quavo and later putting that conversation to rest for the most part.

Either way, it's always nice to hear new stuff from Nicki.
