Taylor Swift congratulates Cardi B after getting de-throned from the number 1 position.

Cardi B's recent win was a win for hip hop as a whole. It seems like the majority of people were ecstatic when news broke that she'd received her first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Bodak Yellow." From Missy Elliot to Nicki Minaj to DJ Khaled to T.I., everyone shared similar enthusiasm to her recent accomplishment. While the single de-throned Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do", it doesn't seem like Swift is that upset about it. Actually, it comes across as the complete opposite.

Cardi B took to Instagram earlier today to post a little Boomerang clip of herself with an arrangement of flowers. Turns out that Taylor Swift was the one that sent them. In the caption it read, "Sooo beautiful and lovely .Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers 💐❤️❤️....and I freaking love your music 🎶" While Cardi's latest accomplishment came at the cost of Taylor's number one position, it seems like Taylor was also bumping "Bodak Yellow" all summer long.

After "Bodak Yellow" jumped on the Billboard Hot 100 in early August, it seemed inevitable that the song would eventually hit number one on the charts. While it took a bit over a month, many people speculated once it hit the top 10 that it would reach the top spot shortly after. The accomplishment makes Cardi B the first female since Lauryn Hill (in 1998) to top the Billboard Hot 100 with a solo rap effort. Something that Nicki Minaj has yet to do, surprisingly.

While her hit single also reached for the top position, shortly after it was announced that the single had also gone platinum. She shared a photo on Instagram of the plaques and said "PLATINUM!!!!!! Thank you BARDIGANG,FRIENDS,Family ,Radio personality ,DJs,ARTIST !!!!Made it happen for me !!!" While she's definitely earned the plaque with all the work she's put in, now it's time to see what she's about to do next.

In other Cardi B related news, she's slated to perform alongside G-Eazy tonight at Jimmy Fallon. The two are set to perform their new single "No Limit" which also features A$AP Rocky. However, it seems like Rocky won't be able to make it for the performance.
