Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg is working on his first full-length album for 2018.

It’s been a few years since Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg last dropped off some original music. In fact, his latest body of work came back in 2013 when he dropped off the New York Renaissance mixtape, featuring ASAP Rocky, Troy Ave, Action Bronson, Joey Badass, Smoke DZA, ASAP Ferg, and more, but it looks that’s all about to change later this year. During his late night radio show earlier this week, Rosenberg informed listeners that he’s putting out his first full length album later this year.

“It’s time. It’s time. Why not put out an album?” Rosenberg started off his show Wednesday night with. “Im digging through the rolodex and I'm going to fire up an album and make something happen. And I’ve always known that that when I did decide to do this, I was always quite confident that I could do something really special on the account of the relationships I've made and my ear.” he said.

He didn’t give any time table for when the album might be dropping, but he said he's getting the ball rolling now. He also took some requests on the show on who all should be on his album. “I have a lot of different ideas but what all we’re able to do, we’ll see.”
