The Weeknd is an artist that doesn't flood the market with music however, when he does decide to drop, it's monumental. The last release we got from him was the remix to "Reminder" featuring A$AP Rocky and Young Thug at the top of August. However, after previewing new music on social media, turns out the XO star is setting to premiere his new song "Down Low" on OVO Sound Radio this weekend.

Leave it to the Weeknd to be as mysterious and allusive as possible. He took to his Instagram story to share a promotional poster of tomorrow's OVO Sound Radio flyer and captioned it "Down Low." The song was briefly previewed on his Instagram story and you could hear a few bars from the song. He's heard singing "Kick back on the whiskey / Virginia black am now tipsy / On the lay like am Nipsey / Spanish girls wonna kiss me."

While he gives Drake's Virginia Black a shout out, it only makes sense that The Weeknd premieres the new song on OVO Sound Radio. The two rappers have made amends recently after the two had a bit of friction between them for unknown reasons. The Weeknd also ended up coming out at Drake's OVO Fest this year and the two have previously stated that they got some music on the way together, so let's hope that comes into fruition soon.

The Weeknd is currently on tour in North America promoting his latest album Starboy. The tour is actually the third leg of it as he's essentially been on the road since February of this year. While there have been several stints of the tour, thusfar he's had some pretty great openers and actually ended up inspiring Lil Uzi Vert's highly successful "XO Tour Llif3" after bringing Uzi on the road with him. Other openers on the tour have included Bryson Tiller, Nav, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Belly and Rae Sremmurd. The long stretch of tour dates has seemed to tire The Weeknd out. He recently bailed on the VMA's as a result of fatigue due to touring. It's hard to blame him for taking a day off from a busy tour schedule.
