Yung Miami dedicated "Dear JT" to her old City Girls partner, although the internet isn't loving what it is hearing.

Yung Miami has delivered her new album Watch Dis. She is cashing in on the hype of "Spend Dat," which achieved song-of-the-summer contender status. This is her solo debut, and fans were eager to hear what she was bringing.

Unfortunately, there is one song, in particular, which is going viral for all of the wrong reasons. The song in question is called "Dear JT." It is a letter to her former City Girls partner, whom she had a falling out with a few years ago. The message of the song is beautiful as it speaks on their friendship and everything they went through together.

"Letter to my friend ’cause I know they got a narrative/Fallin' out with my sister in public, so embarrassing/When you went in, I held it down, no comparison/Now we ain't seeing eye to eye, I wonder why/When you was dead wrong, I used to act blind/We used to get our periods at the same time," Miami raps.

However, in typical internet fashion, they are going above and beyond to tear the song to shreds. Quite simply, there are people online who believe the lyrics are cringey and that the production itself is lackluster. It has led to some pretty brutal comments, and you can't help but feel bad for Yung Miami here.

Internet Reacts

Below, you can find some of the reactions to the song. Overall, they are pretty unrelenting in how critical they are. While the message of the song was certainly a nice one, it's clear that the actual sound of the music just isn't resonating.
