The Boston baddie is gearing up for the debut of her sophomore album on June 23rd.

This New Music Friday (June 2), Coi Leray teamed up with Metro Boomin for a new song called "Self Love." It appears on the brand new Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse soundtrack, along with appearances from other popular rappers like Offset, JID, Don Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert, and 21 Savage. Seeing as her Instagram feed and Story have been lighting up with countless selfies and thirst traps lately, it makes sense why the Boston-born lyricist was picked to put together a confident anthem for the animated film.

Earlier today, Leray turned to social media to celebrate another exciting project she's got in the works. Wearing a bright pink latex bodysuit, matching gloves, and platform boots, the 25-year-old revealed that she's officially activated superhero mode. The salacious announcement comes ahead of the arrival of her sophomore album. "GET READY! 👀 @meta 💖🆑," she added in the caption before reminding her fans that COI is due out on June 23. Leray has already shared a handful of singles from the tracklist. Among them are "My Body" and "Bops," but many were notably confused when she revealed her full roster of guest features last month.

Coi Leray Gets Cheeky with It

David Guetta, Saucy Santana, Giggs, Lola Brooke, Skillibeng, and James Brown are all on the list. The latter, specifically, is raising many eyebrows. The "Anxiety" artist has been known to sample throwback hits as of late. It'll be interesting to see what she has in store with the late funk musician's discography. On another recently teased single, "Make My Day," she was criticized for using "Pump Up The Jam," especially after ranting about oversaturation in the music industry on Twitter recently.

Regardless of what her haters have to say, the genre-bending artist's fans are more than excited to see what else the rollout for COI has to bring over the coming weeks.
