The hometown fest has been known to bring out Southern rap royalty.

Lil Wayne will be bringing his Lil Weezyana Fest to New Orleans for a third time this summer. The event, which is set to take place August 15th, will feature a performance from Wayne himself, as well some "special guests." In the past we've seen artists like 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, and Migos take the stage, as well as hometown heroes like Master P, Mystikal, and the reunited Hot Boys (minus B.G.).

No word on who will show up this time around, but if there's anything we've come to expect, it's that Wayne will give us some of the best New Orleans and the South in general has to offer.

Check out the tweet announcement and poster from Wayne below.

Wayne's long-overdue collaborative project with T-Pain was released last month. Read our review of the project here.
