Mustard's been Ella Mai's #1 fan from the minute they met.

Ella Mai's "Boo'd Up" was released in 2017, but the R&B single has only recently received major hype with numerous artists sharing their rendition of a remix. We're talking Fabolous, Nicki Minaj & QuavoFetty Wap and more recently T-Pain all killing a verse, giving the song even more life and love that its original version.

The 23-year-old UK singer was signed to (DJ) Mustard's 10 Summers label back in 2016, and the man continues to tell everyone how much of a star she really is and how he knew it from the jump. "I don't think she has a ceiling," he told Billboard. "I refer to her as 'The GOAT,' because people have yet to see what she can do and how talented she is. I think with me and her working closely together like we do and with her being signed to me, that's like my prodigy."

The 28-year-old Los Angeles producer explained how he can't even put into words what she's going to do. "She's talented and she has a good head on her shoulders. She's definitely focused. I can't wait for the world to hear her album and what we've been working on and what I've always seen in her from day one."

As for her upcoming album, it's arriving sooner than we know. “We’re pretty close to finishing,” Ella said back April. “You can hear the growth from my EP’s into this project. Content-wise, it’s a bit more mature. It’s still me and, like the EP’s, still about love and relationships. There are definitely some collaborations but I can’t share those just yet.”
