Prior to releasing last week’s Bruce Wayne mixtape, Fetty Was had spent the past few months rolling out various singles & remixes for fans, including his take on SZA’s “The Weeknd,” Post Malone’s “Rockstar,” & Blocboy JB’s “Rover” to name a few, but it appears that’s not all he had in stored for us. Come late Tuesday night, the Jersey sensation decided to share his version of Ella Mai’s catchy hit-record “Boo’d Up” on his soundcloud page.
Leaving the Larrance Dopson & DJ Mustard production intact, Fetty delivers his usual melodic singing raps & croons about his love for his woman & never finding another one like her in the process. “I will never find another like you baby/ Ooooh that get me higher than you baby/ Mmm that make me feel the way you do baby,” he croons.
It serves as the latest in a long line of rappers to tackle Ella’s instrumental, including Dave East, Plies, K Camp, Vado, & Jae Millz to name some.
