Lil Wayne and Turk have sent their condolences via Twitter.

Some unfortunate news has hit the hip hop world with another legendary emcee's parent passing away in recent times. The mother of Hot Boys' Juvenile has reportedly passed away earlier this week, Complex reports. Juvenile has yet to make any public comments on the passing of his mother but several of his associates and former group mates sent their condolences to the rapper and his family.

Both Turk and Lil Wayne took to Twitter to send their condolences to Juvenile which has been the closest thing of a confirmation we've received about the passing of Juvenile's mother.

"My condolences to my big brother Juvenile and his family on the loss of his mother. Prayers up! Love," Wayne wrote on Twitter.

Turk also sent his condolences via Twitter, which was sent on Jan. 24th, which is likely when she passed away.

"Y’all Keep My Big Brotha Juvenile In Ya’ll Prayers His Moma Passed Today!!!" He said.

This is the second tragedy to strike Juvenile and his family in the past 10 years. In 2008, Juvenile's daughter, her mother and her half-sister were murdered in Georgia. The man behind the act was reported to be related to all three victims. He was later charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Juvenile and his family at this time.
