Chris Brown has already seemed to deny these rumors around him and Usher as they return to their "R&B" tour tonight.

Back in 2023, rumors swirled that Usher got into an argument with Chris Brown at a party, rumors the latter dispelled and that didn't manifest into anything. Now, fans have to wait and see if the same will be true after the Atlanta concert for their "R&B" tour was delayed last night (Thursday, November 5). It's the first of five nights at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as part of their highly successful joint trek.

For those unaware, the show reportedly began about three hours after the scheduled start time and boasted a shorter setlist. Overall, fans said the show was missing some trademark moments like Usher's cherries and bringing women onstage, and the two reportedly didn't perform their songs together. While fans immediately started to speculate, city ordinances stating the show must end at midnight are a more likely explanation for a shortened setlist.

Also, fans theorized the two R&B stars may have issues with one another. Breezy already seemed to deny this conspiracy by writing "Internet [cap emoji]. don't fall for it" on his Instagram Story, as caught by @Nprezzed on Twitter.

Usher & Chris Brown Beef Rumors

But today (Friday, November 6), TMZ reported that, according to alleged sources close to the situation, the two superstars got into a verbal argument which caused the delay. Heavy traffic in Atlanta was reportedly making fans late. Brown allegedly wanted to begin the show anyway, while Usher allegedly wanted to wait. According to the report, they allegedly got into an argument that crystallized competitive tensions over "egos." While the publication's sources claimed the "R&B" tour isn't in jeopardy, they said the artists allegedly haven't resolved their issues yet.

The situation remains completely unclear, and fans will be looking for answers tonight. The duo is set to perform in Atlanta again, and they have three more shows after that one on the schedule.

We will see if they address any of this onstage or if fans will have to keep their questions for themselves for now. Chris Brown and Usher's tour has wowed fans so far, so this situation has many feeling fearful. Maybe this is just like the alleged 2023 fight and things are actually fine.
