Chris Brown appeared to address rumors that he and Usher were fighting.

If there’s one tour that gave people FOMO this year, it’s the Usher and Chris Brown co-headlining R&B tour. The two have received the utmost applause and rave reviews, but apparently, the first night of their historic five-night run at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta wasn’t as smooth as fans hoped–and that’s a charitable characterization of what went down.

For starters, the show had a three-hour delay. The show was supposed to start at 7:30 p.m., but the two only took the stage around 10 p.m. However, that barely scratches the surface. According to Baller Alert, the duo didn’t even perform their songs together, and the typical viral antics were absent. Usher reportedly didn’t bring out the cherries, and no women were brought on stage. Moreover, apparently half of the expected setlist wasn’t performed. Some said about an hour of the performance was essentially removed from the Atlanta show.

Although these complaints were corroborated by several people who attended, the issues may have been largely related to complying with local laws. One person noted that a city ordinance forced the two to end the show around midnight, which would explain why a significant portion of the setlist was cut.

Usher & Chris Brown Beefing? Breezy Addresses The Rumors

What may be a bit more of a headscratcher, though, is that people suggested the underwhelming show surrounded a potential feud between the headliners. However, it should be noted that there isn’t any evidence that suggested anything physical occurred between them.

Chris Brown seemingly addressed the rumors afterward on social media, writing, “Internet [cap emoji]. Don’t fall for it.”

Chris Brown and Usher continue their ATL run tonight, November 6th. They’ll also be performing at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on November 8th, November 10th, and November 11th. Make sure you cop your tickets.
