Future's follow-up to "The Real Me" is reportedly on the way.

It looks like we should expect a new album from Future in the near future. The Atlanta rapper just dropped his new single, “Ya Hit” featuring Drake, Travis Scott, and Loe Shimmy. And while most assumed that it was Loe Shimmy’s single with features from three heavy-hitters, it turns out that “Ya Hit” is actually the lead single from Future’s follow-up to The Real Me.

Per Kurrco, the new posse cut will appear on Future’s upcoming project, Infinity. It’s unclear when the album will drop, and no other details are currently available, but “Ya Hit” sounds like a promising effort to lead the campaign.

Considering that “Ya Hit” is already a feature-heavy single, Infinity won’t be featureless like The Real Me.

Future's New Album Infinity

Future already started teasing a new project earlier this year. Without confirming that an album was on the way, he started using the hashtag #Infinity on social media posts. Though he’s previously used that hashtag, Kurrco’s recent report plus the release of “Ya Hit” certainly add far more weight to the speculation.

After The Real Me dropped, Future teased his follow-up. “Thanks for the #1 album," he wrote. "I'm always super grateful for the consistent love 1000% this next one for you."

Frankly, this all comes during a pretty active year for Future, as well. The rapper will appear on the GTA VI soundtrack. He appeared alongside Yung Lean and Metro Boomin on the single, “That’s It.” Moreover, he also dropped several of his classic mixtapes on streaming services earlier this year that were previously unavailable on DSPs, including Dirty Sprite.

We will keep you posted on any further updates on Future’s next album. Hopefully, it arrives sooner rather than later. How do you feel about “Ya Hit?” Let us know in the comment section below.
