Infinite Archives and Jordan Brand are bringing back the Air Jordan 17 Low with two new colorways, in purple and red for 2027.

Infinite Archives is returning to the Air Jordan 17 Low in 2027. The “Varsity Purple” and “Varsity Red” pairs are set to release on March 2nd, 2027 for $255 each.

These are the same colors Easy Otabor previewed before the original “Beach” pair arrived last October. At the time, many fans thought the purple and red looks might stay friends and family only.

Overall, the design stays clean and understated. A sail leather upper sits on top, with black eyestays and a black mesh bootie around the ankle.

Metallic silver covers the heel spoiler, and the accent color is limited to the midsole trim and TPU sections. The “Varsity Purple” pair uses purple, while the “Varsity Red” pair uses red.

The style codes are JA8018-100 for purple and JA8018-101 for red. Both are expected in men’s sizing through SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.

Jordan Brand has not confirmed the details yet, and no official images have been released. Overall, it is a very exciting update for one of the most respected collabs of 2025.

Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low

The first Infinite Archives pair was one of the biggest surprises of 2025. Many fans talked about it as a “Sneaker of the Year” contender.

It also helped bring the Air Jordan 17 back into the spotlight. The model has always been one of Jordan Brand’s most unusual designs, with a jazz-inspired look that stands out from most retros.

Easy Otabor showed the first pair during Paris Fashion Week in January 2025, and the shoe later appeared at a NikeLab Seoul exhibit curated by him.

The “Beach” pair released in October 2025 through a Draw raffle. Pairs this time are expected through Nike’s regular retail network.

The collaboration has built a loyal following, so expect strong demand again. Overall, March 2nd could be one of the biggest dates of the spring. We will be watching for official images soon.
