SoleFly’s Daniel Hidalgo was spotted wearing the upcoming SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 in Miami, and the dark suede pair looks sharp on feet.

SoleFly’s Air Jordan 5 collaboration has been spotted on feet, and it looks even better in person. SoleFly’s Daniel Hidalgo was seen wearing the pair at Got Sole in Miami.

The pair is expected to release in December for $225. Sneaker Files lists December 5th, though Jordan Brand has not made it official.

Overall, the design is dark and understated. Grey suede covers the upper, while black fills the tongue, eyelets, side netting, and midsole.

Teal gives the shoe its Miami feel. It appears on the lace lock, the Jumpman on the tongue, the heel branding, and the shark teeth along the midsole.

One difference from the earlier sample is the SoleFly logo near the heel. It was teal on the sample, but the retail pair uses black.

The shoe also keeps Nike Air embroidery on the heel, and an oversized logo piece sits on the upper.

A small lacing detail adds more personality. The laces wrap around the ankle before returning to the front, which gives the shoe a boxing-inspired look. A matching clothing capsule also has a boxing theme, with a black tee, a black and teal hoodie, and shorts that look like they belong in the ring.

SoleFly x Air Jordan 5

SoleFly has built a strong run with Jordan Brand, including the Air Jordan 12 and last year’s Air Jordan 3. That Air Jordan 3 used Miami Hurricanes green and orange, and it was a huge hit.

We showed the SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 detailed images in September. The final pair looks close to those photos.

Dark suede with teal is also a smart pairing. It is different from the bright summery looks that Miami boutiques often use.

Past SoleFly releases have been very limited, and this one is likely to be hard to find. The collab is expected through SoleFly and select NBHD retailers.

Overall, it is a strong follow-up to last year’s Air Jordan 3. The boxing theme and clean colors make it stand out in a busy holiday season.
