Anyone conducting financial transactions involving Lil Durk should confirm who they're dealing with, the rapper cautioned.

Anyone claiming they can handle business for Lil Durk had better be prepared to verify it. The Chicago rapper issued a blunt warning about conducting financial transactions in his name, making it clear that only a few in his circle are the trusted representatives he has specifically identified. He also cautioned that anyone who fails to confirm who they're dealing with could find themselves out of money.

"If it's not my legal team or my wife please do not do any business or money transactions with anybody without verification or your loss," Durk wrote on social media.

The message didn't identify anyone allegedly misrepresenting his interests, nor did Durk explain whether a particular incident prompted his warning. However, his wording suggests he's concerned that people might use their association with him to solicit money or arrange deals without proper authorization. His reference to his wife points to India Royale, who has remained a vocal supporter throughout his federal legal proceedings.

Lil Durk's Warning Comes As His Federal Case Continues

The message arrives at a consequential time for the rapper, who remains in federal custody despite securing a major courtroom victory last month. On September 11, a Los Angeles jury acquitted Durk of all five charges in his murder-for-hire trial, which involved allegations that he orchestrated a 2022 attack targeting Quando Rondo. His attorneys celebrated the verdict and called for his release, but a separate federal prosecution has kept him behind bars.

Royale publicly celebrated the acquittal, sharing a photograph of Durk with their daughter Willow and thanking God. Durk also acknowledged the people supporting his defense, posting a photograph of his attorneys while expressing gratitude to his family and supporters.

His remaining legal battle involves charges of murder in aid of racketeering and a related firearms offense, which he has denied. A federal judge postponed that trial until August 30, 2027, after defense attorneys requested more time to prepare. Durk is scheduled to return to court on November 4 for a bond review hearing, where the court will decide whether he can await his next trial outside federal custody.
