The Lil Durk trial has led to much conflict and debate concerning his OTF collective. Some of the men initially involved in the murder-for-hire indictment against him, namely OTF Jam and OTF Vonni, became witnesses for the prosecution. This led to snitching attacks and condemnations from the likes of Memo600, a Chicago rapper with strong bonds with The Voice and his affiliates. Now, there's a social media flare-up between Memo and Jam while the latter deals with the fallout of Durk's acquittal.
As caught by Akademiks TV on Twitter, Jam took to his Instagram Story to diss Memo. "Through everything that going on right naw i would still smack the s**t out a bih ahh n***a like memo600," he wrote. "yo lil bih ahh was jus jumping out 2 story windows leaving yo homie behind getting chains took trying to get away from otf. yo ahh a lame you a over grown goofy telling people you [knew] me. i never seen you a day in my life only speak on me when i can reach you. dont speak on me when i cant touch you."
Memo600 responded in a series of Instagram Stories of his own this week. Also, he posted an AI-generated image of OTF Jam being tangled up (and suspended by) toilet paper in a prison cell.
"IM STARTING TO THINK THIS [ninja emoji] JAM GETTING ALL HIS INFO OFF YOUTUBE," Memo wrote. "I NEVA IN MY LIFE RAN FROM NO [ninja emoji]. ONE THING U CANT SAY BOUT ME IS IMA SNITCH OR A BIHHH YOU JUST SNITCHED ON FONEM AND GOT YOURSELF LIFE IN JAIL INSTEAD OF TAKING 3 YEARS CAUSE U COULDNT DO TIME FOR A PIPE CASE ON MY KIDS.... YOU GOT 80 MO YEARS TILL U SEE THE STREETS AGAIN & YOU WORKED ABOUT ME. THATS HOW I KNOW U WORKING WONT TRICK ME OUT MY SPOT..."
OTF Jam's Sentence
Also, he shared alleged IG DMs from Jam praising Memo's realness. Memo600 argued OTF Jam is only dissing him because Memo "spoke facts" about his cooperation. "YALL BLOGS STEADY GIVING THIS [rat emoji] AIR TIME ON STEVE !" he wrote on his Instagram Story. In addition, Memo shared an AI-generated image of Jam in a prison cell.
OTF Jam received disses from other artists amid this trial, whether it's within Chicago's rap scene or beyond it. Jam might face life in prison for admitting to involvement in multiple murders, but he has not received a sentence yet. He initially faced three to four years for a federal gun charge. On the other hand, Memo600's taunts towards other industry foes make this flare-up with Jam unsurprising.
