During a red carpet interview ahead of Drake's "FOMO" premiere, the artist revealed that he would be going on a World Tour in 2027. Although he did not reveal any exact dates or locations, the announcement was enough to get fans excited about what's to come.
After all, Drake has released three projects so far this year, and outside of a Don Toliver show, he has yet to perform any of them. Furthermore, he previewed some new music on his "FOMO" stream, and we wouldn't put it past Drake to perform some of those songs in the new year.
That said, we still know very little about this tour outside of the fact that it is happening. According to DJ Akademiks, however, one thing is for sure. During a livestream last night, Ak said that he has heard rumblings behind the scenes, and that tour will be "out of this world." He even said to wire Live Nation your money as soon as possible.
Drake's Tour Is Coming Next Year
This is a big proclamation to make, but it's not unheard of when it comes to Akademiks. He has always ridden for Drake over the years, and we can imagine he will be one of the first to get tickets for the tour. Having an OVO chain certainly comes with its privileges.
For now, fans are just going to have to sit tight and await further details regarding the tour. There are still three months left in 2026, so it could be a while before the tour gets an official announcement. Regardless, an ICEMAN tour is certainly an exciting prospect.
Numerous artists went on big tours this year, including A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, and J. Cole. Now, Drake has an opportunity to upstage all of them.
