The Drake x Stake connection continues to thrive. Though most of the time the rapper hosts a gambling stream, it’s typically attached to some sort of giveaway. However, he decided to jump on Kick last night at the last minute without much notice and ended up leaving big. By the time the night ended, Drake scored $1.2M and called it quits while he was riding high.
Outside of the big stream, Drake did provide fans with some pretty exciting news, especially as it relates to new music. A few weeks ago, the rapper debuted a few new songs on his FOMO “not-so-short-film,” including two collaborations with Don Toliver that have yet to see an official release. Fortunately, Drake confirmed that those songs will appear on streaming services on Thursday night. It remains unclear what format they will appear in, though. FOMO might appear as a collection of loose singles packaged as an EP or several music videos that get uploaded individually on DSPs.
Drake Hits The Jackpot During Latest Stake Stream
The interesting part is that many people assumed that FOMO would actually be a tour announcement. That wasn’t necessarily the case, but Drake confirmed that there would be a world tour in 2027, though he hasn’t confirmed or revealed any dates so far. Akademiks said that he heard the tour would be crazy. And considering that Drake now has three albums worth of new music that fans haven’t heard live, it wouldn’t be surprising if his upcoming tour exceeds the standards he’s set with previous tours.
