Drake remains one of the biggest artists in the entire world, and his "FOMO" livestream certainly proved that. During the stream, he unveiled a plethora of new songs, which were eventually released as individual loosies on his YouTube channel.
However, fans have been asking for these songs to make their way to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Some have even wondered if there was going to be a FOMO album.
Last night, Drake did an impromptu gambling stream for Stake, and it was here that he revealed an album is, in fact, on the horizon...sort of. Essentially, most of his "FOMO" songs will drop on Thursday.
"All the songs you guys have been asking for... well, not all of them, but enough of them, are coming on Thursday," Drake said triumphantly.
Drake Reveals FOMO Drops This Week
It is unclear whether or not the songs will be backed into an album or EP format. There is potential for these songs to be released individually, much like he did on YouTube. Either way, fans have been made well aware that these songs are from the "FOMO" sessions. This includes songs with Don Toliver, and perhaps his most popular "FOMO" track, "QUEBEC."
This has been a humongous year for Drake and his fans. In May, he dropped ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR, and HABIBTI. Now, he is back with "FOMO" and a World Tour in 2027.
While his moves against UMG have continued to receive criticism, there is no denying that his music has received praise all year long. It feels as though Drake's comeback is complete, and even his biggest haters would admit such a thing.
