Drake's "Quebec" Removed From YouTube Just Hours After Premiere

Drake's "FOMO" cut "Quebec" was made private on YouTube, but fans hope this walk-back is indicative of a more formal release coming soon.

Drake already took 2026 over with his ICEMAN trilogy, and he has more material to share. His recent "FOMO" short film included not just new music videos from those albums, but also completely new tracks with visual accompaniments. The 6ix God dropped one of these, "Quebec," on YouTube yesterday (Saturday, September 19). But it's now listed as a private video, which sparked many theories as to why.

There are a lot of rumors floating around about this removal, whether they have to do with Drizzy cleaning the track up after getting big numbers, UMG being involved in its removal, or the privatization occurring due to a recent incident at a Quebec festival during which a man injured six people by driving his car into a crowd, per CTV News. But none of these theories have been confirmed at press time.

In any case, die-hards hope this indicates the song (and other "FOMO" tracks) will get official releases on streaming platforms soon. Maybe this is gearing up towards an EP drop or something similar, but again, it's hard to say. The Toronto superstar himself hasn't said anything about this at press time, and we'll see if that changes.

Elsewhere, the OVO mogul is probably celebrating after winning big on Stake. He bet $650K on Joshua Van to beat Alexandre Pantoja in their UFC match, and got a $1.1 million payout as a result, as caught by DJ Akademiks on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Drake may be dealing with more disses these days. An alleged Pusha T snippet sending shots at him surfaced online. However, it seems like this diss, which is part of a larger alleged Push and Pharrell album leak, might be an AI fabrication. Some fans called the whole album fake, whereas others believe it's real. Maybe we will never know for sure until Pusha drops his new material officially.

Regardless, Drake is seeing a lot of success and acclaim with "FOMO" and his 2026 run, so it might not bother him either way. After all, there is more new music to share. We'll see if "Quebec" eventually returns in a more official way or if the music video reemerges.
