A Paris run-in left Joseline Hernandez laughing after A$AP Rocky compared her to Rihanna and revealed the singer has love for her.

Being compared to Rihanna would flatter most people. Being called her “evil twin,” apparently, requires an explanation. Joseline Hernandez laughed about receiving both during her appearance on Club Shay Shay, where Shannon Sharpe asked whether she sees the resemblance that people have drawn between her and Rihanna. The Puerto Rican Princess responded with a story about unexpectedly running into A$AP Rocky in Paris.

“I just seen her husband in Paris, while I was with my husband,” Hernandez recalled. “He was like, ‘You’re Rihanna’s evil twin.’ I was like, ‘Me?! Why I gotta be the evil twin!’” Hernandez said the comment had her laughing more than anything else. “I was cracking up ‘cause I was like, why am I the evil twin,” she added.

A$AP Rocky Told Joseline Rihanna Is A Fan

Rocky apparently had more to say than his playful comparison. According to Hernandez, the rapper told her that Rihanna has love for both her and her husband, Balistic Beats. “But no, he was actually saying that she love us, that she love me and my husband and she really f*ck with us and stuff like that,” Hernandez told Sharpe.

She placed the encounter around Paris Fashion Week last year, explaining that she was in the city for a performance when she and Balistic crossed paths with Rocky at their hotel. As for whether everyone making those Rihanna comparisons needs their eyes checked, Hernandez is not exactly rejecting the premise.

“People do say I look like her,” she said. “I think she’s gorgeous. We give some of the same vibes.”

The compliment seemingly goes both ways. While Hernandez did not claim a personal friendship with Rihanna, she left the conversation with Rocky believing the singer is familiar with her and Balistic and has some affection for the couple. The unanswered question is why Rocky decided Hernandez had to be the evil twin in the first place.
