Boosie Badazz is still seeking justice related to his attempts to get a pardon, which seems to have been under false pretenses. The rapper paid $600,000 to two Trump lobbyists who allegedly promised to help him get a pardon for a gun charge. Unfortunately, that didn’t end up happening, and Boosie’s made several attempts to get his money back.
His efforts have seen publications like New York Times interview him but over the weekend, an interview with 60 Minutes broadcast on the air. However, Boosie didn’t like the outcome. He explained that he sat down for a full hour and didn’t feel like they provided the full context of his claim.
“I TALKED ABOUT HOW BEFORE THIS SITUATION HAPPENED THAT I SAT DOWN WITH THE PARDON CZAR AT THE WHITE HOUSE DISCUSSING WHY I FELT I NEEDED A PARDON. I TOLD THEM THAT I FELT MS ALICE WOULD HELP ME BUT THE JUDGE ENDED UP DISMISSING THE CASE A FEW MONTHS LATER SO SHE DIDNT NEED TOO,” he wrote.
Boosie's Beef Over 60 Minutes Interview
Boosie explained that the case was later picked back up with a new charge of being “a attack around a firearm,” though it appears that he likely means an “addict” as he later added, “HOW AM I A ATTACK WHEN I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO REHAB.”
“WE HAD PROOF THAT THESE THIEVES SAID THE PRESIDENT SIGNED THE PARDON.I WAS ASKED WHAT I WANTED OUT OF THIS SITUATION N I SAID ‘I WANTED THE PRESIDENT TO LOOK AT MY CASE WITH MS ALICE N SEE IF ITS WORTH A PARDON!!’ I ALSO SAID I WANTED HIM TO TAKE N CONSIDERATION HOW I WAS DONE WRONG BY THESE PEOPLE WHO LIED ON HIM TO DO SO,” Boosie wrote. “MY STORY WASNT TOLD FULLY BUT HOPEFULLY THIS INTERVIEW WILL PROVE MY POINT CLEARLY N CIVIL COURT THAT I NEED TO BE COMPENSATED X 10.”
