Megan Thee Stallion details the discomfort she felt during her relationship with Klay Thompson.

Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for a new chapter of her career with ACT III set to drop in the near future. At this point, there’s no confirmation of when the project will drop, though the rollout is in full effect. A few weeks ago, she sat down with Michelle Obama for the IMO podcast, and this week, a profile with InStyle hit the shelves where she opened up about her relationship with Klay Thompson.

She explained that she felt “on edge all the time” when the two were together. The couple parted ways earlier this year with Megan confirming the news on social media. “I’m trying my best,” she said when asked how she’s feeling about the situation. “I feel like I’ve been put through the washing machine and the dryer with tins, shovels, and a cactus.”

“How do I want to say this gently? What’s meant for you is always going to work out. And if something is constantly making you feel uncomfortable, just on edge all the time, you probably are not supposed to be there,” she continued. “God will always make you uncomfortable when something is not meant for you. I think I just kept trying to make pieces fit that didn’t belong, trying to fit myself into someone else’s life. I was losing myself a little bit. I am now in the space of finding me again… You will not disrespect me. And you will be thankful. Period.”

In the message shared to social media after their split, Megan suggested that infidelity was at play. “Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” she wrote.
