This Air Jordan 3 has climbed to $1,000 on resale since 2007, and now Spike Lee's colorway is finally getting a retro.

The "Do The Right Thing" Air Jordan 3 is set to return March 27th, 2027. It's priced at $215 through Nike, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Shiekh, DSG, and Hibbett. This marks the shoe's first retro since its original 2007 release.

The style code is JA8123-400 and of course, it takes after the Spike Lee joint. The colorway also pulls directly from the movie's poster artwork.

Blue leather covers most of the upper here. That marked the first time nubuck ever appeared on an Air Jordan 3 build. Traditional elephant print is replaced for a tonal blue and white pattern instead.

Gold hits the eyelets, midsole, and heel Jumpman branding. A radiant green Jumpman logo sits up top on the tongue. Further, that mix of colors ties directly back to the film's own visual identity.

This 2027 return lines up with the shoe's 20th anniversary. Spike Lee's connection to Jordan Brand goes back to his Mars Blackmon commercials. Finally, the "Do The Right Thing" remains one of the most direct movie tie-ins in the entire Air Jordan catalog.

The original 2007 release only came out in limited numbers. That scarcity helped turn it into a true grail over the years. Further, resale prices on original pairs have climbed as high as $1,000.

Spike Lee's presence in sneaker culture has stayed strong ever since those early Jordan ads. He's remained a fixture courtside and within basketball culture more broadly. His recent custom Knicks-themed Air Jordan 3 only reignited interest in a wider retail release.

This retro is expected to stick close to the 2007 original's look. That means keeping the same bold color blocking and premium leather build. Overall, Jordan Brand rarely revisits movie-inspired colorways like this one.

For sneakerheads who missed out the first time, this "Do The Right Thing" Air Jordan 3 finally offers a real shot at one of the model's most storied colorways.
