Rick Ross, Ludacris, BigXthaPlug, and T.I. may have to rethink their scheduled concert in Louisville amid reports of low ticket sales. Their "The Crown Live in the Ville" show at Kentucky's L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium is scheduled to take place on October 24. But The Jasmine Brand reports there could be big changes to this event.
According to the outlet, online ticket-tracker TicketData Keith reportedly alleged 160 tickets for this event had been sold over a 30-day period, with about 47,000 seats allegedly still available. The L&N Stadium's maximum seating capacity is reportedly 60,800, but it's unclear if ticket sales for this event made all of those seats available. Per Ticketmaster at press time, the cheapest available seats cost $110.
Neither event organizers, nor the artists, nor the venue itself have verified any of this information at press time. The concert will move forward as of writing this article and there is no indication of a cancelation, with the ticket-tracker theorizing there could be a venue change or big shifts to pricing and seating.
Fans in the comments section of the Instagram post below proposed various theories for these alleged sales. Some blasted media outlets for reporting on stories like these if they hadn't promoted the event in the first place. Others pointed to a more general lack of marketing as a major detriment, saying they weren't even aware this was going on. On the other hand, a few fans found that Ludacris, BigXthaPlug, T.I., and Rick Ross were far too ambitious in scheduling a stadium show. Finally, many folks said going to concerts is just too expensive these days, lamenting the lack of more moderate pricing.
