LeBron has been a Nike athlete since 2003, and that relationship is heading into its 24th year alongside his first season in Philadelphia. His signature shoe, the LeBron 24, leaked online earlier this summer and has already been spotted during his training sessions with new Sixers teammates.
It features a more streamlined low-cut build compared to the LeBron 23, with updated cushioning and a cleaner profile. The LeBron 24 is expected to release during the season.
For Nike, having LeBron on one of the league's most anticipated rosters heading into what could be a final championship run is exactly the kind of visibility his signature line has always thrived on.
Jaylen Brown
Jaylen Brown's 741 brand is one of the most fascinating stories in sneaker culture right now. In September 2024, Brown turned down more than $50 million in endorsement offers from major brands to launch his own independent performance company.
The name comes from the numbers 7, 4, and 1, which carry personal spiritual significance for him, representing awakening, hard work, and new beginnings. His first shoe, the Rover, debuted in an all-black "Black Moon" colorway and retailed at $200 for adults.
Since then, 741 has been expanding its colorway and apparel lineup. Brown bringing the brand to Philadelphia puts it on one of the biggest stages in the Eastern Conference.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey signed with New Balance earlier this year, becoming the latest star guard to join a brand that has been quietly building one of the NBA's most interesting basketball rosters.
