Serayah and Joey Bada$$ are no longer together. The actress and model shared a message on social media announcing that she ended her engagement to Joey Bada$$, with whom she shares a child.
“After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to end my engagement and relationship with the father of my child, Joey. I loved deeply, believed wholeheartedly in the life we were building, and wanted nothing more than to protect our family,” she said. “Unfortunately, I also had to face a painful truth: there had been repeated infidelity throughout our relationship, including during some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of my life.”
Serayah explained that the message she shares is in hopes of uplifting women who’ve endured similar experiences. “If your intuition is telling you something is wrong, listen to it. Don’t make yourself smaller to keep someone else comfortable. Don’t compromise your values because you’re afraid of losing the future you imagined. And don’t allow someone else’s choices to become a referendum on your worth,” she wrote. “Love should not require you to abandon yourself.”

She made it clear that her priority remains with their son and his relationship with both of their parents. And because of that, she won’t turn their break-up into a media frenzy surrounding the intimate details of their relationship. “This chapter did not end the way I prayed it would. But endings can also be beginnings,” she wrote.
The couple has been together since 2023. Last year, the two welcomed their son in June, and two months later, they revealed that they were engaged. So far, we haven’t heard anything from Joey Bada$$, but we will keep you posted with any further comments from either party.
