The Air Jordan 4 "Pink Thunder" drops December and it breaks from every past release in the Thunder lineup.

The Air Jordan 4 "Pink Thunder" now has a confirmed release date. It's set to drop on December 19th for $220 in women's exclusive sizing.

Black covers most of the upper, keeping the familiar Thunder look intact. Rust pink takes over the winged eyelets, mesh underlays, and sections of the tongue. That same pink also runs through parts of the midsole, tying the whole design together.

The biggest twist sits on the heel. Instead of the usual Jumpman branding, this pair features classic white Nike Air lettering instead. That's an important difference from every past Thunder release, which have all stuck with the Jumpman on back.

It's a small detail, but it matters to plenty of collectors. Nike Air branding tends to signal a more OG focused build, giving this pair a slightly different feel than past Thunder drops. That kind of detail can shift demand in a big way, even on a colorway that's already expected to sell fast.

Combined with a stacked holiday lineup around it, "Pink Thunder" is shaping up as one of the season's more talked about releases. Expect it through Nike SNKRS, Nike.com, and select Jordan Brand retailers on release day.

The Thunder color blocking goes back to 2006, when it first released as part of Jordan Brand's Lifestyle series. Black and yellow defined that original pair, becoming an instant favorite among Air Jordan 4 collectors.

Jordan has also branched the concept out over the years, adding Red Thunder in 2022 and White Thunder in 2024. Each version has kept the same black base while letting a single accent color carry the design.

"Pink Thunder" continues that pattern while adding something new to the mix. It's the first Thunder release built specifically for women's sizing, and the first to swap in pink instead of yellow, red, or white. That combination alone makes it stand apart from everything that's come before it in the lineup.
