Undefeated and Jordan Brand are teaming up again, this time on the Air Jordan 5. The "Moon Fossil" colorway is set to release February 18th, 2027 for $230.
The shoe swaps the usual leather build for a tan canvas upper. It gives the silhouette a rugged, military inspired look tied to Undefeated's design history. Silver reflective tongues peek out from behind the laces, running down into a webbing strip toward the toe.
Branding gets a real makeover too. A red Jumpman sits layered over Undefeated's Five Strikes logo on the tongue, while olive green embroidery covers the heel. The classic Nike Air branding also gets swapped, with "UND" replacing "Air" on the heel tab.
On the bottom, a black midsole keeps the Air Jordan 5's signature shark tooth detailing intact. A translucent blue outsole finishes things off, adding a cooler tone against the tan upper.
This also won't be the only Undefeated colorway either. A second Air Jordan 5 is going to release during the same window, done up in light chocolate, red, and grey. That gives the project a full two shoe drop.
Undefeated x Air Jordan 5 “Moon Fossil”
Undefeated relationship with Jordan Brand goes back over 20 years. Their first Air Jordan 4 collaboration dropped in 2005 and became one of the most respected sneakers of that
era.
That olive green colorway eventually turned into one of the biggest grails in Jordan Brand history. It stayed out of reach for most fans until finally getting a wider anniversary release last year.
This new Air Jordan 5 project marks the next chapter in that ongoing partnership. Instead of leather, Undefeated leans into canvas and worn detailing, keeping the military theme that's defined its past Jordan work.
2 colorways are planned, along with matching apparel expected alongside launch. That has "Moon Fossil" shaping up as one of 2027's most anticipated Jordan collabs. For Undefeated fans, it's another shot at a brand that's rarely handed out easy cops.
