Official images confirm the Air Jordan 4 "Tour Yellow" returns September 5th, marking its first retro after 20 years.

Official images have surfaced of the Air Jordan 4 "Tour Yellow," confirming its release for September 5th at $220. This marks the colorway's first-ever retro, exactly 20 years after its original 2006 debut.

White leather covers most of the upper, keeping the base clean and classic. Tour Yellow hits the midsole with a speckled finish, paired with black accents throughout for contrast. Dark grey leather wraps the eyelets and signature wings, adding some texture against the brighter yellow tones.

The original pair released back in 2006 as part of Jordan Brand's LS line, known for pairing bold colorways with matching apparel. That release sat alongside the now-iconic "Lightning" and "Thunder" Air Jordan 4s, both of which have already received multiple retros over the years. "Tour Yellow" stood alone as the one colorway from that trio that never got a proper return, until now.

Full family sizing is expected at launch, with pricing set at $220 for men's, $165 for grade school, $105 for preschool, and $90 for toddler sizes. Pairs will be available through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.

The Air Jordan 4 has stayed one of Nike's top-selling retro models for years, and "Tour Yellow" has quietly remained one of its most requested returns. With "Lightning" and "Thunder" both already back in rotation, this release finally completes that early-2000s trio.

The original pair also carried a detachable tongue patch, revealing "Rare Air" branding underneath the Jordan Flight logo. That detail tied it to other cult favorite Air Jordan 4 releases from the same era, including the Undefeated collaboration.

Momentum around the Air Jordan 4 has only grown recently, fueled by collaborations like Nigel Sylvester's recent releases and steady demand across the retro lineup. Bringing back a shoe this requested fits right into that ongoing push.

Overall for those who missed out the first time around, September 5th finally offers a real shot at this colorway.
