Deion Sanders showed up to Cleveland Browns training camp in an unreleased pair of Nike sneakers, and they weren't subtle. The coach was spotted on the field in Berea, Ohio, checking in on his son. Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, decked out in an all-gold colorway of the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2.
There's no confirmed name or release date attached to the shoe yet. Nike hasn't said a word about it publicly. Based on the silhouette and detailing, this looks like one of the mockup colorways Deion previewed a while ago when his equipment team handed him a sheet of twenty potential Diamond Turf 2 options for the year ahead.
The pair leans fully into gold, from the nubuck upper down through the strap and outsole. It's a sharp departure from the black and white pairs Deion has favored most of this season. Whether this one ever makes it to retail is still up in the air.
Deion didn't say much to reporters during the visit, sticking to his usual approach of watching from the sideline rather than holding court. But the shoes did plenty of talking on their own.
Deion Sanders Unreleased Nike Air Diamond
The Diamond Turf 2 was Deion's second signature shoe with Nike, first released in 1994 during his run with the San Francisco 49ers. Since reuniting with the brand in 2023, Sanders has turned the line into a rotating showcase of throwbacks and new player exclusives, and 2026 has been no exception.
Just days before this appearance, Nike and Deion unveiled a wave of "Colorado Buffaloes" PEs built around black and gold, including a hybrid pair blending the Diamond Turf 2 upper with a Vomero Plus sole. The all-gold pair fits right into that same run of experimentation.
Shedeur has leaned into the family connection too, wearing his own Diamond Turf 2 pairs pregame this season as a nod to his father's era. With Nike clearly testing options across the board, an official all-gold release wouldn't be a shock.
For now, this is just Coach Prime doing what he does best, making headlines in the parking lot before anyone even reaches the field.
