Gucci Mane and many of his Brick Squad and BSM affiliates went at it on Twitter yesterday. The argument seemingly began with accusations that GuWop himself had paid the lawyer fees for Slim Dunkin's killer, but quickly progressed into money and label issues within the Squad.
Coming unexpectedly is the news that Gucci Mane has just dropped Waka Flocka from his 1017 Brick Squad Records label.Taking to twitter not long ago, Gucci Mane announced that he dropped Waka Flocka from his Brick Squad label. Gucci didn't give much details other than that Waka has been "disloyal".
Though Gucci Mane has made plans to enter rehab and get his life back on track, it seems his conflict with Waka Flocka is far from over. According to TMZ, Gucci has filed a lawsuit against Waka, and his mother, Debra Antney, who was Gucci's manager for some time.
Gucci Mane's lengthy twitter rant was certainly a spectacle, but left a lot of people wondering how much of it was based on fact, and ho much was completely fabricated. Gucci Mane called out plenty of rappers, and got pretty explicit in recalling his sexual history.
Gucci Mane dropped three mixtapes (WW3: Molly, Gas & Lean) on iTunes three days ago, on the same day he started calling out his rap enemies on Twitter-- Young Jeezy, T.I., Yo Gotti, and lastly, his most recent beefing partner, Waka Flocka.
Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have had an on-and-off relationship throughout their careers to say the least. The peak of their differences occured when Gucci announced that he had dropped Waka Flocka from the 1017 Bricksquad team.
Waka Flocka stopped by MTV's Rapfix Live today and spoke on his recent beef with Gucci Mane.Last week, Gucci Mane took to twitter to announce that he had released Waka Flocka from his Brick Squad Record label, saying Waka was "Disloyal".
Waka Flocka is not necessarily known for his vulnerability, but our heart has gone out to him since his brother's all-too-recent passing, last December. When he sat down with WKYS, he spoke about how his life is different now, saying:
Gucci Mane's current behavior has been deemed by most of his fellow rappers as nothing out of the ordinary. 2 Chainz recently said he'd expect nothing less from Gucci. Nonetheless, his behavior seems to get stranger by the day and it doesn't seem like the good ol' GuWop we know and love.
