Earlier this year, HNHH launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B.

Stream De La Soul's First Album In 12 Years, "And the Anonymous Nobody…"
De La Soul's and the Anonymous Nobody… has been a long time coming. The legendary Queens trio's last album was 2004's The Grind Date. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the album was delayed from last September to April, then again to August. They atoned for the delays by releasing an EP called For Your Pain and Suffering.

De La Soul Reveal Tracklist & Cover Art For "And the Anonymous Nobody" Album
De La Soul was supposed to drop their Kickstarter-funded album And the Anonymous Nobody on April 26. Due to outstanding clearances and assorted legal obstacles yet to be hurdled, the album wasn't ready in time. So the group instead delivered a token of their appreciation, a 4-track EP called For Your Pain & Suffering, and announced that the full album would arrive on August 26.

Six months ago, De La Soul set the release date for their Kickstarter-funded album And the Anonymous Nobody: April 29th. This morning, the storied Queens trio announced that they are pushing back the release date to August 26.

New Era and Ma Dukes (J Dilla’s mom) have unveiled the full lineup for the upcoming J Dilla Weekend 2016, honoring the late beatmaker and emcee. Earlier this year, De La Soul launched a Kickstarter with the intent of crowd-funding their next album. The campaign was a huge success, beating their goal of $110,000 with a whopping $600,000 in fan donations. A3C Festival Announces Initial Line-Up
