As we reported back in January, Future has signed on to produce the soundtrack for the upcoming film SuperFly, which is a remake to the 1972 blaxploitation crime drama. The film is set to star Trevor Jackson & Jason Mitchell, with famous music video director X serving as the film’s director. With a release date tentatively set for this Summer, that means we’re only a few months away, and on Wednesday night the film’s executive producer, Future, decided to share the first official trailer on his Twitter page.

“Check out the @SuperflyMovie trailer featuring my new music 🔥🔥🔥 Catch #SUPERFLY in theaters this summer,” he captioned his tweet.

In the trailer fans can hear a never before heard record from the Freebandz Gang rapper playing the background that will presumably see life on the soundtrack. There’s no info about the record, but from what we can hear it sounds pretty dope. “You can walk on minks baby, you can walk on minks” Future repetitively raps on the hook.

In addition to the new Future music, the trailer also features cameos from Rick Ross, Big Boi, Zaytoven and more.

Check out the trailer (below) and let us know what you think. While you’re at it, be sure to peep Future’s new song with DJ Stevie J called “Stripper,” which dropped last week. Stay tuned for more.
