While she has been absent from the music game since her 2012 album Lotus, Christina Aguilera has a new album on the way and she's announced it in a major way. It was reported yesterday that the songstress had teamed up with Kanye West for a new song and, thankfully for us, we didn't have to wait too long to hear the collaboration. Surfacing today, Xtina released her brand new single "Accelerate," featuring the vocal talents of Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz as well as a trio of incredibly talented producers. Combining the work of Kanye West, Mike Dean and Che Pope, Christina has her next hit.
The track comes with the announcement of her next album Liberation, which is being released on June 15. The album will be executive produced by Aguilera herself but for the unveiling of the project, she needed some extra star power to make sure people really took notice. With Ty, Tity Boi and Ye, she definitely has gotten that. Alongside a fresh music video, Christina is back in full force with "Acceleration" being offered as a bonus for all pre-orders of the album.
