Megan Thee Stallion teased new music on social media, Monday night, further alluding to "Act One" of a new era. She first hinted at the beginning of promotion for a new release by combining three Instagram posts to spell out "Act One," earlier this month.

"Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past over and over again," Megan says in the clip. From there, the video ends on the note, "a story by Megan Thee Stallion." The release comes after Megan recently settled her lawsuit against her former record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. The rapper confirmed that she's funding her own work during a livestream on Instagram, earlier this month. “I have no label right now," she told her followers. "We’re doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion pockets. So, the budget is coming from me. […] I’m so excited to be doing something for the first time independent since it was just me and my momma. So excited cause it’s really just me this go-round until we sign to a new label. But I don’t wanna sign to a new label right now because I just wanna do it myself.” Check out Megan's latest teaser below.
