Kid Cudi teases fans with a taste of new music ahead of his expected album.

Kid Cudi fans certainly haven't been lacking for new material in recent years. Just last year he dropped Entergalactic an album accompanied by a full Netflix animated special. He's expected to release a new album called Insano later this year. He might have just given fans the first taste of what that album could sound like. On his Instagram story today, Cudi shared a snippet of new material which featured production from BNYX.

While reaction to the snippet was a bit mixed online, fans are no doubt excited for what Kid Cudi is delivering on Insano. Earlier this month, Cudi dropped "PORSCHE TOPLESS" from the forthcoming record. The track also features production from BNYX. In fact, BNYX seems to have played a major role in Insano. Last month Cudi specifically highlighted the producers influence in a tweet thanking him for his contributions. "Oh man, CUD X BNYX VIBES FOR ALL, This album would be NOTHING with out u" Cudi's tweet says.

Kid Cudi's Teases New Song

Kid Cudi has never been one to just stick to music. He'll be hoping to score an Emmy nomination for some of his TV work this year. Other artists like Childish Gambino and The Weeknd are expected to be considered as potential nominees for the upcoming award show He also just announced the line-up for the second edition of his Moon Man's Landing music festival. Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray, $uicideboy$, and Cudi himself are set to headline the fest.

It wasn't all love from Kid Cudi when he dropped "PORSCHE TOPLESS" a few weeks ago. The rapper called out Apple Music for reportedly "making up" lyrics to the song that weren't accurate. It's something streaming services have increasingly dealt with controversy over recently. Artists have identified when the lyrics to their songs are displayed incorrectly on both Apple Music and Spotify. Other artists like Mach Hommy have tried to legally prevent streaming services from displaying any of his lyrics at all. What do you think of the new Kid Cudi and BNYX snippet?
