Are you feeling particularly "Curious" lately? Then perhaps Shenseea's brand-new single is the perfect thing for you. This New Music Friday (April 14), the 26-year-old unleashed her first effort of the year (following last week's feisty freestyle), on which she sings about experiencing strong feelings of lust towards other women. In the accompanying music video, we also see her switching up her look several times, sporting both beautiful blonde hair (which ends up drenched in sticky, golden honey), and a short, bright red style that certainly caught our eye as she sings while laying in a pile of other ladies.
As Urban Islandz notes, the dancehall track was produced by BEAM, Dunw3ll, Fred Ball, and finally, Shenseea's own beau, London On Da Track. It dropped via Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records and follows the Jamaican's 2022 album, ALPHA, which earned her plenty of positive reviews. While she collaborated with names like 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, Offset, and Sean Paul on the 14-track album, "Curious" finds her operating solo, and performing more confidently than ever before, as many fans have noted so far.

"Met a bad gyal by the name a Tammy / How she put it in reverse on the beat," the mother of one's flirtatious bars begin on the first verse. "Gyal, yuh body bad like danger / I want flavour with no chaser." Following the one-year anniversary of her last project, Shenseea is gearing up to drop another later this year. She previously teased that Kanye West will be appearing as a feature on one of the tracks, though it remains unclear who else she's been connecting with in the studio at this time.
